| Mid-1960s | Chester’s wife, Mary Sue Warren, joined the accounting office after obtaining her public accounting license. |
| Early-1970s | Chester and David P. Bales opened an office on Monroe Street in Sweetwater, Tennessee. Chester and Mary Sue continued to operate the accounting office in Madisonville while David managed the Sweetwater office. |
| 1977 | Douglas E. Warren joined the firm full time as a Madisonville staff accountant. |
| 1981 | Chester Warren passed away after a lengthy illness. |
| 1984 | Douglas Warren moved to Sweetwater and continued the firm as Warren & Bales PC, after David Bales took a position with a client. Meanwhile, Mary Sue Warren assumed operation of the Madisonville office under the name M. Sue Warren CPA. Later, the Sweetwater office merged with G. R. Rush and Company. |
| 1988 | Michael Tallent and Douglas Warren re-established the Sweetwater office from G. R. Rush, and renamed the firm Warren & Tallent CPAs. |
| 1995 | The Sweetwater and Madisonville firms were merged and operated under the name of Warren & Tallent CPA’s. |
| 2002 | Robert S. Tallent was admitted as a member, and the firm continues today as Warren & Tallent CPAs, PLLC. |
| 2004 | David P. Bales, CPA returned to Warren & Tallent CPA’s PLLC in the Sweetwater office. |
| 2007 | Mary Sue Warren passed of COPD respiratory disease. She will be sadly missed but remembered as one of the establishers of the Warren & Tallent CPAs legacy |
| 2010 | Michael K. Tallent, CPA passed away after a long and difficult battle with cancer. His memory lives on in all our hearts and will be a legacy for years to come. |
